President Dr. A.W. Trueman announces that Dr. Frank J. Toole is appointed Dean of
Graduate Studies. "The new deanship not only means that the rapid development of postgraduate
study at the University in recent years has brought about a need for more organization of it but
also that UNB is interested in building up graduate work" (AN 5.1: 6).
