Col. H. M. Tory, Principal of the University of Alberta donates $3,500 for a scholarship.
22 Nov 1921: Senate resolves that the scholarship be open to returning soldiers in addition to the
"children of returned men" (SM 1904-1927, 484).
18 Feb 1936: Senate recommends that the Khaki Scholarship be awarded to members of the
Freshman or Sophomore class (SM5, 120).
