President's Report notes that, at Encaenia on 13 May 1926, the Honourable C.D.
Richards "gave an address in appreciation" of Mrs. James Bird's gift of the platform chair in
memory of her son "of the class of 1910, who... lost his life while serving with the Canadian
forces in France" (PR1925-16, 144).
